It's That Time of Year Again

Every year around this time, I get it really bad.

Spring fever. And I’ve got it BAD!

I hate not having an office where I can sit next to the window and look outside. Which I guess is a good thing, since I know that I would just look longingly out that window all day long wishing I was outside, instead of cooped up in that office.

We’ve had some really great weather since Sunday here in the Bay Area. The kind of weather where I wish I had a convertible and a killer stereo system so I can blast good tunes while just out driving around, with no where in particular in mind. Just to be out enjoying the great weather. I love getting into my car and just drive. Especially at night during the warm summer nights. Ahhh, summer will be here soon enough.

I hate it when I get spring fever, it makes me too restless. When my Wenchy lived here in the Bay Area I would just head on up to her house and hang out with her and the bratties. Now I have to settle for once a month drives on up to Ukiah. I hope this weather holds up and is like this all weekend.

Speaking of this weekend, yeah, it looks like Hank has chickened out on me. I’ve tried calling him but I get no answer, so whatever. His loss. Well, I’m kind of at a loss too. I was hoping to get laid this weekend. But I guess it just wasn’t meant to happen. Win some, lose some. However, it seems I lose some more than I win some. That seems to be the story of my life lately. You think I’d be used to it by now.

Oh well, I’m still going to see my Wenchy, hang out at our new local bar, play some pool, listen to some good tunes, throw back a few good pints of Guinness and have a great time! Who in the hell needs to have a man for that? “Not I!” said this fly.

Now all I have to do is make it through work tomorrow. If tomorrow is as nice as it was today, I have a feeling that I will be leaving work early. It will be nice to drive up in this nice weather. If only the damn traffic wasn’t a bitch, it would be the perfect drive.
