Going... Once. Twice. SOLD, to the lady over there!

This week didn’t go exactly as I had planned.  Well, at least Monday didn’t.  

So how was the INXS concert, T?!  

Oh yea.  That.  Uhm…  I heard it was a great show.  However, I wouldn’t know.  The Bloody Munchkin and I never made it to the show.  

What?!  Yeah, you heard me.  Turns out that Munchkin had bought her husband, Fighting Nun, Warrior vs. Clippers tickets for Christmas, which was for the same night as the INXS show.  Fighting Nun was having a bit of a problem finding someone to go with him, originally Munchkin was going.  

Anyway, to make a long story short, I hopped on Craig’s List to see if anyone was looking for a couple of tickets.  I e-mailed this one lady, asked her if she was interested.  I got an e-mail back saying that she was, so I paged Munchkin to see how bad she wanted to go with the game to her husband.  I’m not a total bitch and I completely understood when she said she did.  So I wasn’t going to see INXS with JD, no biggie.  

The lady on Craig’s List came by work to pick up the tickets.  We talked for a little bit.  This woman is a big fan, even so much as called herself a groupie.  Her, her son, and husband had gone down to LA and watched them tape the INXS Rock Star show.  DAMN!  Yeah, that is a little hardcore.  I’m just glad the tickets went to someone who I knew was really, really going to enjoy the show.  

Bloody Munchkin and I got our money back and a woman/husband groupie team got to see one of their favorite bands play live.  I’d say it was a win, win situation all the way around.
