A few months ago I had read some magazine that had an article that sparked a little bit of anger in me. It had to do with Scott Peterson. Apparently the Canadian Coalition Against the Death Penalty offers free webpage’s to over 500 death row prisoners. Scott Peterson is now one of them: http://www.ccadp.org/scottpeterson.htm.
I live in the Bay Area, quite close to where the bodies of Laci & poor baby Conner were found. I remember quite well, right after their bodies were found, talk of some occult crap and what not. Bunch of bull shit I thought from the very beginning.
I had done a web search of Scott Peterson's name and found a couple of web sites argue that Peterson is innocent: Justice4Scott.com & ScottIsInnocent.com. Even a Scott Peterson Fan Club web site! This last one is quite interesting in deed.
Now we all know how Scott's family continues to argue that their son is innocent as well. I'm sure any mother or father doesn’t want to believe that their child is capable of committing such a crime. After all, they sure as hell didn't raise him to be a killer. However I am a firm believer that we never truly KNOW anybody. There are too many things that go through a person’s head that we know nothing about. We don't know how there think and how there truly feel. We can only go by what that person tells us and wants us to believe.
I admit, from week one, that I thought Scott was responsible for the disappearance of his pregnant wife. And as the weeks went by, I knew without a doubt that he was guilty. His behavior was just very peculiar, not that of one who's loved one is missing and a couple months shy of giving birth to their child! Something just wasn't right.
I'm not going to go on about Peterson. He's gotten enough attention as it is. The web site by CCADP Organization lists Peterson mailing address at San Quentin. There has only been one message from Peterson to the web site, on July 21, 2005, thanking those who have sent letters of support. He's not responding to all of his letters anymore, for reasons of people who have been selling the letters/notes that Peterson has responded with and/or fabricating the contents of the said letters/notes from Peterson. It amazes me that people will make a dollar anyway they can, although it surprises me not.
Peterson, to this day, still continues to believe that he is innocent. Which in his own head, he probably has justified himself to where he truly does believe that he is.
