Killing Loneliness

5/11/06
Note: Okay, I got rid of the video. I was tired of having it pop on everytime I opened my blog. So, if you really, truely want to hear the new HIM video you can click on either of the links. They will each take you to either their website or their MySpace page. I'd go for the MySpace page since they have it up playing right there.

Thank fucking gawd!
They finally released another video.
I was getting sick of hearing the Wings Of A Butterfly song. Don't get me wrong, the video for that song is visually awesome, but I heard that song to death. It was the only song available to listen off of the new Dark Light album before its official release, and I played the fuck out of that song to the point of wanting to poke someone's eye out if I heard one more fucking time!
I don't know, I can't explain it... I love this band a lot. I had heard a song here and there a few years ago (Bam Margera also loves this band, but I never put the two together when I would watch his shit. Funny really.) but they didn't grab me like they did In March of 2004 when Mr. Love broke my heart. Okay, so I have a thing for tall, skinny, long dark haired, inked men. Ville Valo (the lead singer) was also a key factor in my obsession with this band. Like YOU never listened to a band because of a certain member that either made you wet or gave you a hard-on, or both! Well, this band and Ville are just that for me.
It's not a bad video, Ville looks actually a lot healthier in this one. Maybe he has laid off all the boozin', it definitely shows if he has. This song also happens to be one of my favorites from off the album. My ultimate fav is Under The Rose. I wonder if it will ever make it as a singe and a video. Who the hell knows! I just wish they were coming back to California. The closest they are coming is to Las Vegas at The House of Blues on June 8th. The last time I saw them was at The Download Festival at The Shoreline back on Ocotber 8, 2005. Don't get me wrong, I love going to Ozzfest which is always at the Shoreline, but I am a small venue chick. I missed HIM when they played at the Warfield back at the beginning of 2005, and that was a pretty small venue. The House of Blues would be just the ticket. I'm seriously thinking of taking a little Vegas Holiday and seeing 'em again. I dunno yet. We'll see...
Anyway, just thought I'd share.
